If you're looking for a cure that doesn't involve spandex, then don't worry - the symptoms will pass in 1 to 3 mini-series, and the next issue of Acme Novelty Library should be out by then.

Please note: Greg Horn did the cover. It is not a pretty sight. That's why I didn't link to it directly. You have been warned.

Good night, and good luck.

I have alredy ordered this based on ILC hype, so it should be arriving here next month. What about GLA? There's a GLX Special this month, but I have heard nothing about it (you have to order comics in advance here to get them, so if I don't order it right about now, I won't get it!)

"Greg Horn" & "not pretty" in the same sentence? Cannot parse!

Hmm, is it part of She-Hulk's superpowers that her breasts grow from A-cup (as seen in the comic) to D-cup (as shown on the cover) when she metamorphoses?

That is a very insightful comment, and in no way ignores the fact that we've just been dicussing it.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 17 October 2005 07:39 (twenty years ago)

Er, I was just pointing out the discrepancy between the two artists' work depicting the same character. Also, it was nice to see a someone draw a superheroine who actually seems to have A-cups. I don't read all ILC threads, so I don't know where you've discussed the subject.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Monday, 17 October 2005 10:08 (twenty years ago)

it was discussed on this thread, perhaps if everyone here said they were horny sixteen year old girls you would bother to read their posts. "perhaps".

???

I don't really see what you're trying to say... Anyway, after the stuff you've said about me on ILE I'm not really taking your comments seriously anymore.

Take it to a parallel Earth, pls.

I thought GLA was pretty good, not as good as She-Hulk.

But I think Spider-Man/Human Torch is better than both.

GLA is very good.
Slott basically takes characters that are laughable and treats them seriously. It manages to have a good humor/seriousness balance that few comics achieve.
And it's a direct response to the whole "let's rape tawky tawny and then burn his corpse" shenanigans.
