Besides, Old Fart Tharg has always desperately tried to be wicked, crucial, street etc so this is no major change for him.

"I have no sympathy for any of the characters. All the "goodies" are people that f*cked up the entire planet, and the "baddie" is an insane cannibal."
He misunderstands. The insane cannibal is THE HERO.

Yeah, I still don't know how to fit Mick Talbot AKA The Tower King into it. It's going to be Book II at the earliest.
In fact why not just cut to the chase with TOWER KING II: POWER CUT IN BASILDON

In summary - even if Bono Vs Eden WASN'T good (and it IS!) it would probably be the best one by a LONG CHALK.

I'm a lot happier with MURDERDROME 1997 which I'm doing for Solar Wind - it's a violent deathsport of the future where the only way to scre a goal is with a severed head! One of the opposing team's, or one of your own! IN THE FUTURE MURDER IS TEH NATIONAL SPORT etc etc.

The exposition page was only one page anyway, the stuff with DOG was ACE, also it was a model of subtlety compared to some of the other exposition, Blade Warrior I'm looking at you.

There's every chance Tharg will turn around and say 'actually budget means none of these will happen', or he might say 'can you write this series I invented instead', but knock wood, Bones Of Emo has a good chance to happen in 2006.

I often find that train stations are the best place to find this kinda thing for some reason that I don't understand.

Apparently the inclusion of a giant scorpion creature was pretty much the dealbreaker.
