Black Lightning and Metamorpho both turned down offers of membership in the JLA on charges of Jive Turkey. Later, they joined Batman in the Outsiders, along with such Jive Turkey characters as Geo-Force and Looker.
Black Lois Lane, on the other hand, was merely curious (black).
