Who are comics 'for' nowadays? Who do you feel the comics you read are aimed at?

I feel that I am the target audience for comics, and this is not a good thing.

I do however think it's funny the way people who are not kids bemoan the fact that comics are no longer aimed at The Kids.

Especially as you wouldn't let your own kids anywhere near those same people. Not out of any paedo-fear, just that a small child might easily be sat on and crushed by the behemoth-like Busiek fanatics.
