This is my new character that I just thought up.
He is an ornery gunfighter with no hair who hates aliens, and also plays harmodelic guitar.

And he might be a werewolf.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Thursday, 17 November 2005 19:56 (twenty years ago)

He has Jet Powered cowboy boots and rides a psychedelic horse.

He was President of the The United States Vs. One 1974 Cadillac el Dorado.

I am working on designs and will post them sometime during the weekend.

Huck, you realize that you and possibly Neil Hagerty are the only people who could possibly truly enjoy this thread? You should have created a Venn diagram first (comics fans + Royal Trux fans) and you would have seen the truth.

That said, he doses Superman with a mix of kryptonite and heroin.

Hey! I like Twin Infinitives as much as the next brah!

Interesting sidenote: On his bestest post Royal Trux album Neil Michael Hagerty & the Howling Hex, on the song "AEP1", NH shouts out to Martian Manhunter!

I was listening to that album last night when I made a pizza.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 18 November 2005 18:21 (twenty years ago)

Because I just bought the NEW Howling Hex album, and, though it has some fine parts, it weren't nowhere near as good as that one, and I had been looking forward to a good Neil Hagerty fix all day. All week, really.

I'd like to get kno-o-ow, I'd like to get to know

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 18 November 2005 18:23 (twenty years ago)

I don't think I like any solo Hagerty. I have the first one you're talking about, and All-Night Fox and I just don't enjoy them that much. :(

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 18 November 2005 18:28 (twenty years ago)

I really, really like the first one I'm talking about (as is obv), and I have favourite moments on the others, but in general, I think I even prefer his Weird War album to most of his solo stuff.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 18 November 2005 18:32 (twenty years ago)

NOTE: Weird War=ONE MORE NEIL MICHAEL HAGERTY COMICS REFERENCE.

I spent a minute or two trying to come up with a Herrema/Supergirl joke and gave up.

On the You Can't Beat Tomorrow DVD, there is a shot of NMH in front of a framed Kirby Mr. Miracle cover!!!
