Pretty sure Bruce Timm wasn't in on this, since Gargoyles was a Disney production -- and it showed that CARTOONS WEREN'T FOR KIDS UNDER 10 ANYMORE. They showed blood!

Thinking back on it, I'm actually impressed at how detailed the multi-episode arcs got, and how they weaved in Shakespearean (pseudo-)historical figures, but after it got pulled from afternoons and became a Saturday morning series (AT 7AM OR SOMETHING, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING), I remember it seriously jumping the shark as the retitled "Goliath Chronicles."

i liked this show. it is on late at night on toon disney, but i rarely ever watch it.. there is usually something better on to watch

I remember watching this when I got home from high school. I liked that it had about half the cast of ST:TNG voicing it. I remember being noticeably less impressed when I later found that it had a sizable slash fanfic community.

this was Sheena Easton's first voice-acting gig, right? Also, any cartoon where your lead role is done by Keith David = Teh Classique

According to IMDB, one of the guys from "Space Adventurer Cobra" worked on it.
