RFI: Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

There's a new play opening up in the D.C. area by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa called "The Velvet Sky." He's been mentioned in some of the press materials as a writer on Spider-Man and Fantastic Four titles. Not too strange -- Robert Rodi and John Ostrander (to name a few) doubled as playwrights in chicago. Does anyone know anything about this guy?

He was a playwright before he got the gig writing the Marvel Knights FF title! I think aldo's the best person to ask re: RA-S, at least in terms of funny-book work.

Wow, what sort of plays did/does John Ostrander write?

John Ostrander was in good company at the Organic: David Mamet, Joe Mantegna, Dennis Franz.

And Stuart Gordon, I forgot about him! They must've smoked sooooo much dope together back then.

Organic presents: Suicide Squad! w/ Joe Mantegna as Deadshot and Dennis Franz as Captain Boomerang! w/ Rebecca Pidgeon (is that who I'm thinking of?) as, um, Nightshade!

I inadvertently purchased RA-S' first issue of Spidey (it's an online thing) - guess I'll find out next week if it's worth a schmoo.
