Yay or Nay: 27 Pounds of eBay LOSH

SHIPPING COSTS WAHOOOOOOOO!

I have no sense of how many comics 27 pounds is. This is like guessing how many jellybeans are in the jar. Um ... 212?

It's the entire 125-issue run of the Baxter LOSH series & various other books. Ginormous!

Baxter paper! See, if I'd known that, I would have made an 87-comic adjustment because of the difference in paper thickness.

But that's cool. This sounds like one of those "shipping costs as much as the item" things.

If my initial bid stands, it'll be one of those "shipping costs TWICE as much as the item" things. It's a buck banger, no doubt.

Sad eBay things:

- mistakenly bidding on a Peter David Supergirl lot because I read the BIG RED TEXT that denoted ENTIRE RUN OMG, and missed the tiny black text mentioning what books are in the lot (um, not the entire run).

- Finding 2 complete Quantum & Woody runs. Going for $70.

Sadder:

- Winning an Inhumanoids videotape because I vaguely remembered that I thought I wanted to get something by that name at one point and bid before I realized I had confused a cartoon my brother used to watch with the publishers of Metabarons.

- Buying the Yvonne Craig 7 minute Batgirl pilot a couple years before filesharing made it free.

I also might have to weigh in on a semi-complete run of the original Captain Marvel series (supposedly including the Jim Starlin issues).

Duuuuude.

You do kind of have to balance out the cosmic DCU with some cosmic Marvel, after all.

Of course! Also, this could actually be my first Silver Age purchase! If this happens! OMG!
