Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Friday, 24 February 2006 12:48 (twenty years ago)

Who was the woman w/ Blue & Booster?

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 24 February 2006 14:28 (twenty years ago)

I can't watch that at work!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 24 February 2006 14:33 (twenty years ago)

Lucky bastard.

Man do I hate fan films.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Friday, 24 February 2006 14:40 (twenty years ago)

I must be either really bored or a true optimist to keep watching them the way I do.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Friday, 24 February 2006 14:41 (twenty years ago)

I've just been introduced to the wonderful world of fan films. This PG one's the best of the 3 so far, tho the Lobo Paramilitary Christmas one was OK. The JSA trailer, OTOH - eeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:18 (twenty years ago)

There was a Batman one that started out okay, and then it was, uh, ALIENS!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:18 (twenty years ago)

There's a Nightwing one -- I think it was called Grayson? -- that seemed pretty cool when they were showing it at (a dealer's booth at) GenCon. I almost got it (it was cheap and came on a disc with a bunch of other stuff, and I think the Justice League pilot), but the dude only took cash and I wasn't gonna make the round trip to the ATM.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:37 (twenty years ago)

so goofy

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 24 February 2006 16:32 (twenty years ago)

I saw some previews for a Birds of Prey movie that threaten to make the TV show look good.

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 24 February 2006 17:10 (twenty years ago)

Who was the woman w/ Blue & Booster?

Star Girl, according to the credits. And the "Latte, lotta milk" girl is Catwoman, which I suppose I should have "gotten."

Oblivious Lad. (Oblivious Lad), Friday, 24 February 2006 17:41 (twenty years ago)

BECAUSE CATS LIKE MILK (but they like fish even more) (GEDDIT?)

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 24 February 2006 17:42 (twenty years ago)

I don't get it.

Matt Maxwell (Matt M.), Friday, 24 February 2006 17:47 (twenty years ago)

because people who've never lived in a maritime community think that p-u-s-s-y smells like f-i-s-h

Huk-L (Huk-L), Friday, 24 February 2006 17:49 (twenty years ago)

Wonder Woman 60s wtf?

Huk-L (Huk-L), Monday, 27 February 2006 18:43 (twenty years ago)

"Look at Lucille Maxwell! She's 24 years and has got 3 kids already!"
"But Mom, she's not married."

c(''c) (Leee), Monday, 27 February 2006 20:30 (twenty years ago)

That's weird. How come the bit where Wonder Woman admires herself in the mirror lasts for what feels like ten minutes? And the bit at the very start where the comic book is supposed to be turning its pages magically but it just sort of looks more like there was a strong wind in the studio. And the moment towards the end where she flies away! And the actress playing Wonder Woman looks like Esther Rantzen!

Chriddof (Chriddof), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 00:48 (twenty years ago)

Because it wasn't really a mirror! Notice how the "mirror image" moves its right arm when Diana moves her right arm.

c(''c) (Leee), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 01:01 (twenty years ago)

That's why the mirror scene is weird. Why it seems to last for ten minutes is because it's a grotesque misogynist riff on a classic Marx brothers routine.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 02:52 (twenty years ago)

Huk-L falls for the bait shockah!

A winner is me!

Matt Maxwell (Matt M.), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 03:37 (twenty years ago)

For whatever reason, here is what you've always been looking for:

Huk-L (Huk-L), Tuesday, 28 February 2006 20:12 (twenty years ago)

I tried to watch that - is it supposed to be boring?
