Yep. If it's anything like Layer Cake, I'm totally down. Roffle!

We need more Gaiman fans on this board.

Try THE ENTIRE REST OF THE INTERNET.

The lack of Neil Gaiman fans here makes me feel warm inside. GET ONE NEW PLOT.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 15:09 (nineteen years ago)

You talking to me?

Neil G. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 15:10 (nineteen years ago)

I'd rather have more Gaiman than more Gaiman Fans, I suppose.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 15:12 (nineteen years ago)

I'd post the superkewl JRJR art that's been released in conjunction w/ the pre-hype hype for Gaiman's Eternals project, but I'd rather keep this thread focused on DeNiro / Pfeiffer / fantasy bogginses.

From NERDSARMADA:
According to The Hollywood Reporter the film version of Charles Burns’ Black Hole will figuratively remain in comic book hands, as Neil Gaiman and Roger (Pulp Fiction) Avery are adapting the 12-issue series for the screen. Alexandre Aja will direct the film for Paramount Pictures and MTV Films.

I never pegged you for a Gaiman fan!

But I'm w/ aldo & Huk on this one.

I'm not (much)! I'm a Sienna Miller fan! & I liked Layer Cake!

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 19:44 (nineteen years ago)

I didn't like that film at all! But we were (more than somewhat) overexposed to gangster movies in the UK.

Avary and Gaiman doing Black Hole sounds HORRIBLE, though.

And Gaiman is fine for teens, I think. Oh yeah, anyone wanna buy an entire collection of Sandman from #1 to Game of You?

Slocki might! At the very least, he's got some Bendis trades to trade for 'em!

Huk-L (Huk-L), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 20:36 (nineteen years ago)

Bah, I've read the Powers, and I don't like 'em either

Chuck_Tatum (Chuck_Tatum), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 21:14 (nineteen years ago)

three years pass...

I don't know if this is heretical but I preferred the movie to the comic/book.

The movie was fun. I haven't read the book, too many words (or specifically too many words in that annoying faux fairy tale voice that Gaiman puts on sometimes).

Agreed, saw it on a flight, much better than I expected. De Niro as gay pirate was bloody awful though.

The best thing about it was the ever-growing chorus of grumpy ghosts played by British TV comics.
