As Tom's stated a mission to plough through the Infinity Gauntlet, this might be a good time to ask: How many times has Spidey definitively bit it? Doesn't have to be on-panel but it does have to be the real thing ie no 'that web-slinger is finally dead! NOOOOO'

1. Infinity Gauntlet. Cause of death: big rock in the face.
2. Steve Englehart Dr Strange. Cause of death: Earth blowing up.
3. Ben Reilly, who was Spiderman and so counts. Cause of death: stabbed and melted IIRC.

Any more? Does Kraven's last hunt count? I guess Kraven was Spidey for a while too so 4. Cause of death: Shooting self in face while thinking about mother.
