A few notes:
*Nightwing solicit spoilerizes the current storyline.*Batman Chronicles vol. 2--is this going to be an annual thing? *Superman Returns specials x 4. Perhaps this means that Bryan Singer is going to be one of the new Action Comics writers?*52: one of the covers is "too secret to show." I have my suspicions about why, & they revolve around that "character with an established history being introduced to the DCU" business.*DCU: Brave New World. I have my reservations about most of these new series, but this seems like a good way to introduce 'em. And I'm kinda psyched to see Simone & Byrne working together some more...*New Flash and Wonder Woman series debut. Hurm. Also the Green Lantern Corps ongoing, for which Gibbons' writing on Rann-Thanagar Dustup doesn't give me a lot of hope. *Absolute Editions of Kingdom Come and, in July, Dark Knight I & II. Hurm II.*Solo featuring Sergio Aragones. Good idea.*Moorcock/Simonson Elric miniseries continues, TWO YEARS LATE.*Gilbert Hernandez's original GN "Sloth." Man, that guy's productive.*Lucifer ends, evidently on the principle that it would be unfair for it to outlast Sandman.

I'm in the Semi-Stoked column re: the new Wonder Woman book (based on Heinberg's work in Young Avengers) & GLC (based solely on DG's work on the Recharge mini - I try not to think about Ranngar).
(TWO YEARS?!??!!)

Huzzah, I'll be stoked to finally read this, after all the ILC-perbole

Sergio Solo = BOX OFFICE GOLD!Character "introduced to DCU" whatever better not be The Spirit. I'm really, really hoping he can stay in his own Central City (and not the Flash's Central City either).
MAJOR LAMENESS: NO WINTER MEN.

And, given the "Google Maps" structure of 52, I don't see why the Spirit can't be both in 52 and in his own Central City--esp. given that it's somehow fitting that the original weekly comics character might be in 52, too... (That issue's a "mystery in space": if it has to do with the unresolved business with the alien who wanted to learn English from the final original Spirit section, I will be EXTREMELY HAPPY. And I wouldn't put it past Grant Morrison or Mark Waid.)
