Strangehaven - classic or dud

yesterday I bought, read, and enjoyed the first collection of this title. It references things like Twin Peaks, The Prisoner, Children of the Stones, and so on, and is an entertaining slice of local oddness. I am left with the odd feeling of thinking it is not the greatest comic ever but nevertheless am very keen on reading more of it.

what do you think?

I enjoy it an awful lot, but like the idea of it more than actually reading the comic itself, if you know what I mean. Plus, Gary gets them out so infrequently I find myself having to re-read it all before nearly every issue (which is particularly annoying when he throws in a standalone issue, like the fighter pilot one).

three years pass...

So I have just read the third collection. This one really cracks along plotwise - it seems more to be about stuff happening than setting the scene.
