I'M GEEKING OUT OVER HERE. Especially cos MJ is still in it after all and Kiki is in it and everything, oh and the melodrama -- just how is Peter going to handle MJ making eyes with Osbourne, and Gwen Stacy? OMG!

who is kiki?? anyways, the last one was great, so i have high hopes for this one... is osbourne going to be a behind-the-scenes villain in this one?? weirdly, the symbiote is the one thing i'm not excited for since that's always been such a goofy idea.

My take on how the movie will be played out. Peter will incounter the Sandman early on and be soundly trounced. Some how he will discover the suit and he will easilly take the sandman. But then he realizes the suit is evil and gets rid of it he fights the Hobgoblin at the end of the movie and the last thing we see is venom getting ready to attack.

I really, really, really hope there is a whole sideplot about Eddie Brock's life getting ruined kind-of-sort-of thanks to Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I don't know why, I just want it. I also will TOTALLY forgive a lack of Hobgoblin if Osbourne is somehow behind giving Spider-Man/Eddie Brock the symbiote (knowing it was bad shit). This would be an added benefit if it meant Spidey 4 is Hobgoblin/Venom TEAM OF ULTIMATE HATING SPIDEY.

Maguire's emo fag haircut makes me sad.

Either way I will probably be able to remain excited for this movie for an entire year.

I was mentally connecting the scenes in the trailer -- obviously Brock looking up and saying "Parker" is just as the symbiote is being ripped off at the bell tower. Presumably it falls off the side and hits him in the face.

yeah i bet they hold out on harrygoblin until the 4th movie and keep him as behind-the-scenes menace for this one... i assume the emo haircut is one of the symbiotic side effects that he is trying to purge from the system...
