ILC reg-only for next two eternities

With great sadness and sadface sadness in my sadheart, I'm announcing that for the next two weeks, only registered users will be able to post. I blame the spam.

After the two week duration, ILC will reopen to all users,
whether our friendly neighborhood r!ngt0nebot
has moved onto the pickle board or not.

Also, I would drop some witty Civil War analogy here, but I don't actually read it to know more than REGISTER NOW YOU DIRTY MUTIES.

Two weeks is an arbitrary number that I figure will deter the spam. If you mean "Why not permanently reg-only": I remember well the first brouhaha concerning ILE reg-only, and to an extent I agree with those who lobbied against registration only. Thus, a compromise.

Leee, you realize that pretty much every other board is reg-only now, right? ILE, ILM, ILBooks, ILCooking, ILF... I think ModReq is open, so people can post anonymously, but. There is precedent for going reg-only, and it seems to be working fine.
