As the titles suggest, each character actually meets Stan Lee himself, in a story written by Lee himself."

Obviously I need to get over my loathing of Lee. Sad admission - I've never read ANY comic he's written, simply because I HAVE read some of his blustering, self-promoting rubbish filler bits in some old comics. But this Stan Lee Meets gubbins - I mean, who, beside Stan Lee, would want to read it?

it is actually quite strange that roy has been writing the Spider-Man daily all these years, as he only ever wrote a very few issues of the Amazing Spider-Man comic book itself, and i don't think his writing style ever particularly suited the character. still, i don't imagine there's an awful lot of room for characterisation in the three tiny panels of the newspaper strip - wonder who's drawing it these days...

didn't know it was still Larry Lieber, who must be pushing 80 years of age now - the Lieber family are long-lived! my suspicion wld be is that he's doing the basic layouts and that someone else is doing the finishing/heavy lifting.
