One thing that got REAAAALY annoying in, what was actually one of my favo recent books, TEENAGERS FROM MARS, was the constant use of PUNKS! in PUNKBAND SHIRTS! EVERYONE had a Crass, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, ETC, ETC, ETC shirt or poster or something. It made it seem so forced and "SEE LOOK WE'RE REALLY PUNKS MAKING COMICS!" I like it when writers make up fake bands! Like the band Scott Pilgrim plays with but then O'Mally ruins everything by pushing Smiths posters in dood's room and talking about being on tour with New Order and the fucking SMASHING PUMPKINS SHIRT! And now he's put in a music blog at the end of VOL 3! EWW! ARRRRRGHHHH SO LAME! I DONT CARE THAT YOU LISTEN TO TWEE SHIT! MUSIC AND COMIX SHOULD NEVER MIX UNLESS IT KISS OR THE RESIDENTS OR ROCKNROLLCOMIX!
