THE RETURN OF FING FANG FOUR!!!

I found a copy of the Fin Fang Four book for supercheap, and really dug it. Googam was just like the cutest. There's an R. Kikuo Johnson drawing in that Comics Journal 30th anniversary issue that looks exactly like Googam. So much so that I thought maybe he had drawn the Marvel book under a pseudonym.

dude, Langridge has been in comics about twenty years longer than Johnson

And Googam was around longer than that!

NO SHIT. Thing is, I didn't remember the name of the guy who drew the Fin Fang Four book when I saw that Kikuo Johnson drawing. I was pretty sure the credited artist wasn't named Kikuo anything, but didn't remember what the name was. So until I was able to dig that FFF book out and take a look at the credits later that night I entertained the implausible yet not entirely impossible idea that perhaps this dude had done it. Which he didn't.

And Googam got a hell of a lot cuter over the last four or five decades.
