Anybody read this? I just got my copy yesterday in the post, and it's rather wonderful. The writer (who is Mr Jessica Abel) tells a banal story - he's working on his laptop, he gets up and leaves the room, Jessica asks him the time, he tells her, he opens the frige,he realises he can't remember why he went to the fridge - in 99 different comicy ways, from Bayeux Tapestry to Krazy Kat to Tintin to Kirby, etc, etc. I only wish the notes at the back were more full-on, since it's already like a clever, painless comics history as it is. Put out by Jonathon Cape/Random House in the UK/Commonwealth, but I think it came out last year in the US.
