Just read the collected hardcover. Very sweet art, classic storytelling. A bit over the top with the Karl Rove thing, but it was conceived in the fall of '01. Interesting choice to make Mary Marvel a tiny little cherub. And WHOA! on the death of the Wizard.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but Mike Kunkel's new SHAZAM series that just started last week is unexpectedly terrific (and picks up where Smith left off story-wise, although it's very different stylistically). Worth a look for sure.
