AN ILM/ILC CROSSOVER EVENT.

Here we go...
ALL STAR SUPERMAN: If the term "mummudrai" isn't invoked in reference to Bizarro, I'll be mighty disappointed.
MADMAN ATOMIC COMICS: Yeah, me too.
PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL: There's something to be said about a comic which consistently balances mandates from on high with an over-the-top sensibility and stories that don't remotely feel like a hall of mirrors of claustrophobic continuity.
SPIDER-MAN LOVES MARY JANE: A panel will appear depicting MJ and Peter speaking before a row of lockers - this I predict.

R Baez, Monday, 9 April 2007 19:30 (eighteen years ago)

ASS
Fables
She-Hulk

And the last, I don't know, three weeks of stuff?

Jordan, Monday, 9 April 2007 19:39 (eighteen years ago)

Oh and OPTIC NERVE which Diamond sez will be coming out this week. I dream of my ish of ALL STAR doing battle with OPTIC NERVE and seeing who wins...

R Baez, Monday, 9 April 2007 20:02 (eighteen years ago)

OH - and DEATH NOTE VOL. 11 which will feature two beautifully androgynous young men thinking ridiculously convoluted thoughts - various exclamation marks will be involved.

R Baez, Monday, 9 April 2007 20:16 (eighteen years ago)

52, All Star Superman, Nova, She-Hulk, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane (didn't the last issue come out like two weeks ago? is it the summer of 1990 again?), Uncanny X-Men.

Garrett Martin, Monday, 9 April 2007 20:49 (eighteen years ago)

BPRD, Allstar Super, SMT: Sleep of Reason, mabe SMT Dr Death TPB (I don't remember this storyline from the good ol'days - is it something new maybe?)

Oilyrags, Monday, 9 April 2007 23:11 (eighteen years ago)

52, All Star Superman (yay!), Wonder Woman, New Avengers, Thunderbolts, Uncanny X-Men.

Mr. Perpetua, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 00:41 (eighteen years ago)

SUPERMAN BATMAN SER 4 BATZARRO AF - TEMPTER
TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED #7 (OF 8) - Dr. 13 kinda appeals to me in the same that PWJ does, except what PWJ offers in violence, D13 gives in kook.
PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL #6 - see above

aldo, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 08:18 (eighteen years ago)

I'm in 2000AD this week for all those UK ILCers that want to pick up a copy. Also some cracking Dredd action too!

Vic Fluro, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 10:54 (eighteen years ago)

aldo, how you can defend Gen13 (which would be OK, if it weren't for the awful sub-Turnerian art) while doubting the awesome Mahnkeness of Stormwatch AND BUYING CHUCK DIXON JUNK makes me wonder!

David R., Tuesday, 10 April 2007 13:26 (eighteen years ago)

52, All Star Supes, Optic Nerve, JLA: Classified (Pete Milligan!).

Chuck_Tatum, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 14:28 (eighteen years ago)

All Star Superman for me. I'm fairly sure there's nowt else I want this week. All you guys make me feel like I'm some sort of dilletante.

Stone Monkey, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 14:36 (eighteen years ago)

Oh snap, didn't know JLA: Classified was Milligan, gotta get that too! Thanks for the heads up.

Mr. Perpetua, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 15:48 (eighteen years ago)

I don't know, Stormwatch just looks too much like a 15 year old trying to show Howard Chaykin sketches at a convention in the hope of getting a job. AND I LIKE HOWARD CHAYKIN.

aldo, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 15:59 (eighteen years ago)

:0

dude u nuts

David R., Tuesday, 10 April 2007 16:12 (eighteen years ago)

Ditto what Matthew said, Chuck!

R Baez, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 18:52 (eighteen years ago)

JLA: C was completely unrealistic. A nice Jewish girl would never date someone with a Nietzche statue in his bedroom.

Chuck_Tatum, Friday, 13 April 2007 15:00 (eighteen years ago)

A nice Jewish girl would never date someone with a Nietzche statue in his bedroom.

Would you prefer the author of THE WORLD AS WILL AND REPRESENTATION?

R Baez, Friday, 13 April 2007 20:26 (eighteen years ago)

Once again I am in love with Warren Ellis and his superhero work. Thunderbolts = awesome.

HI DERE, Saturday, 14 April 2007 23:37 (eighteen years ago)

you should read fell, dude.

chaki, Monday, 16 April 2007 09:33 (eighteen years ago)

And newuniverse, if you're not already (& I thought you were, but you should).

David R., Monday, 16 April 2007 13:31 (eighteen years ago)

Is that any good? I don't really like Ellis, but the art is pretty.

Chuck_Tatum, Monday, 16 April 2007 14:11 (eighteen years ago)

I'm quite enjoying it, but it's very slow. I'm not that up on the original New Universe though.

aldo, Monday, 16 April 2007 14:14 (eighteen years ago)

NEWUINVERSAL IS FUCKING AWESOME AND NECESSARY

I was two seconds away from buying Fell but stopped myself because, if I did, I would have to become a subscriber again and I don't want to make a comic book commitment.
