If you have young people with comic books tucked under their arms in your library or older folks who still dream of drawing comics, this is the book to buy. For over 30 years, Janson has drawn such characters as Batman, Punisher, Daredevil, and Spawn for DC Comics.[url]

You need to go with blahblahblah instead of <url=whatevs>hoity toity
to convert right.

i still like the blurb for the new Brave & the Bold: "the beginning of an era!"

Lee, I swear, that's what I started with (I crossposted this into a LJ comix community) but the button just wouldn't do anything, so I had to try and convert to the ilxcode by hand. With results almost as shitty as the blurb.

It's funny that Janson should produce a pencilling guide, since he's best known as Frank Miller's inker, right?

Not actually comic related, but on the cover of the "Manchurian Candidate" DVD a friend lent me it says "if one movie has the right to be called the best of all time, this is one of them!!"

Some years ago there was a no-mark horror film stinking up the shelves of my local video shop which boasted a quote from a prestigous film magazine on the cover. The quote was "Now out on video".

Janson has drawn Spawn for DC, though, it's not quite as menko as it first looks.

I think he drew (or at least inked) Punisher and Daredevil for DC as well, during the crazy crossover days of the 9-ohs. But still.

I've seen a few comics he's pencilled (some Batman story and a few others), anf though I like his style, it kinda ill-fitted with superhero colouring. I think his line must look better black and white.

The same could be said of Miller of course, but at least he has had the luxury of choosing the right colourist for his work.

Janson is fairly strong on composition, but his actual drawing is so scrappy as to just looked rushed to me (unlike, say, Campbell or Gibson).
