If it's Kirby-esque, then it's def. the original
Eternals series. Otherwise, it could be from the Gaiman / Romita Jr.
Eternals mini from last year.

In the King's telling, the Celestials came to earth billionz of years ago, and created two ofshoots of humanity, the Eternals and the Deviants. This was told in the Eternals, which was not only kind of a do-over of New Gods, but was inspired by an early '70s book the Chariot of the Gods, which postulated that aliens created life on earth and thus created a hubbub.
Kirby intended, at first, for the Eternals to be out of continuity. But once the book was canceled, numero uno continuity wonk Roy the Boy brought it in line with Marvel-Earth in the pages of late '70s Thor. It's called The Celestials Saga, and has been recently TPB-ed; good gawd it is ever convoluted, not only finishing up what Kirby had left unfinished, but managing to establish that the Ring of the Nibelung was ACTUALLY about a mortal manifestation of Thor, and then includes nearly every mythological pantheon in a big conflgration against the Celestials
It gives you headache, in the most enjoyable, Make Mine Marvel sense

I think there was a confrontation between Black Bolt and some brightly-coloured Celestials in Earth X.

Yeah, the rendering of the Celestials in
Earth X was particularly gorgeous and memorable.
