The server is 33.33% too busy to see if there's a thread on it already, but I don't think there is; ILC wasn't around last year, was it?

Anyway, just a reminder: Free Comic Book Day is in a week, worldwide (I have no idea how widespread participation is outside of North America, only that there is some).

Yeah, there's the usual problem of "people who buy comics don't really need the introduction" vs "people who need to be introduced to comics need to be lured in to know about the free ones," but usually I find a couple that are worth checking out, or worth giving to folks who I think would like a specific title. (Like Barry Ween this year.)

I just bought an issue of Witchblade last week, too! So okay, yeah, I'll probably by the Image special. Christina Z should come back to write it, though, dammit. And my God, the tits.

They haven't mentioned one here, but my place doesn't really carry many back issues except on consignment (they sell more on consignment than any comic store I've seen). Granted, you didn't say back issues, but I just assume.

I got into buying Bendis' Daredevil through one of those cheap/free comics deals, so they do work. But mostly free comics seem to be... ungood.
