quoth the Daver:

CIVIL REPERCUSSIONS:

- Warren Ellis has Penance ineffectually banging his head against a brick wall while Bullseye gets sonned by D-list superguy (awesome)
- Punisher's (temporary?) new outfit cheeses off internet dinks (awesome)
- Spider-Man + JMS = WHINY LIKE CANNED HEAT SINGER (not awesome)
- Iron Man abuses terms like "pardon" and "registration" the way 24's Jack Bauer whips out "perimeter" & "damn it" (nooooooo)
- Captain America: STILL DEAD (yeah, sure)
- Black Goliath of Ebon Largess: STILL DEAD (lucky bastard)
- Captain Marvel: NO ONE CARES (w00t)
- Hulk & his warbound FTW (oh hell yes)

Infinite Crisis Repercussions:

Ummm...

-Robin now wearing more red
-Aquaman now played by Fabio Jr.
-Multiverse back (at least until the "climax" of Countdown)
-everything else has pretty much been undone

I cannot comment on these, but on the originals Crisis of Infinite Earths was way better than the Secret Wars. It was real popular, but I always thought Secret Wars was pretty bad.

I think Crisis of Infinite Earths, some of the tie-ins and restarts worked pretty well.
