The Crime Bible is a spinoff of 52, which will apparently feature The Question (Renee Montoya version) and Batwoman (Kathy Kane version) a pair a tough carpet munchers.

Too bad there's already a comic called Dykes to Watch Out For.

Yes, a shame indeed that that title has been squandered on some flimsy nonsense when it could be applied to this no-doubt-masterpiece!

Also, the DC previews up at N'rama reminded me that there are also sapphic ladies in the Secret Six.

See, I just went for the cheap 'hawt twinzorzz' joke. I had no idea my man Bounce was pimpin' like that.

That would actually be a cool twist if one of the three was a lesbian, though.
And Wonder Girl is not a lesbian (nor is she Palestinian). The 3rd I mentioned earlier is actually Maggie Sawyer, who was originally a captain with the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit (a Byrne creation, I think), and later a lieutenant at Gotham Central.

It suddenly occurs to me that I'd like to read is a Batwoman /Question team-up where the way the 'ex-lovers/reluctant-crime-fighting partners' set-up is treated not as an angsty soapfest, but as an opportunity for screwball-comedy style fun-n-flirty patter. As written and directed by Preston Sturges, say.

Now that would be fun: 'The Lady Question' sort of thing.

I want a lesbian superhero "Hart to Hart" comic. Complete with theme song by their butler, Max.
