EX MACHINA #31 (MR)

Leee, Monday, 15 October 2007 16:21 (eighteen years ago)

Do you have a recipe for Eggs Machina?

Oilyrags, Monday, 15 October 2007 16:39 (eighteen years ago)

Brave and the Bold, The Programme, Ultimate X-Men, Captain America, Mighty Avengers. Not really excited for any of that aside from maybe Cap.

Mr. Perpetua, Monday, 15 October 2007 17:08 (eighteen years ago)

Ba-dum, Owlyrags.

Didn't see B+B! Add that.

Perpetua, is The Programme any cop?

Leee, Monday, 15 October 2007 17:10 (eighteen years ago)

Probably just BRAVE/BOLD, if anything. Or maybe one of the manga I hyped last week yet didn't buy, cuz I'm lame. I dunno.

R Baez, Monday, 15 October 2007 18:24 (eighteen years ago)

The Brave and the Bold, Checkmate, The Programme, and Captain America.

Garrett Martin, Monday, 15 October 2007 19:42 (eighteen years ago)

For me:

52 THE COMPANION TP--My! Kinda! Comics!
BRAVE AND THE BOLD #7--will there be more than one character in this one? We'll see!
DEATH OF THE NEW GODS #1--Jim Starlin returns to the... uh.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #31--still no sign of Cap
MIGHTY AVENGERS #5--oh, they're still publi... uh.
BOOKHUNTER GN--I actually bought the self-published version of this a year or two ago, but it's terrific--Jason Shiga's "Starsky and Hutch as library cops" book...

Douglas, Monday, 15 October 2007 20:44 (eighteen years ago)

Batman is the only thing on the list.

I just ordered a couple of more Preacher and Punisher Max trade paperbacks.

earlnash, Monday, 15 October 2007 22:56 (eighteen years ago)

FABLES #66
HIGHWAYMEN #5
CAPTAIN AMERICA #31

No X-Men titles this week?

Mordechai Shinefield, Tuesday, 16 October 2007 03:31 (eighteen years ago)

Btw: That X-Title last week that I asked what it was? It turns out it was an Excaliber/Exile cross-over. That's right. Two already not particularly good X-Titles... COMBINED. Suffice it to say: It was unintelligible.

Mordechai Shinefield, Tuesday, 16 October 2007 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

Just Brave and The Bold. JLA downgraded to "meh" status again. Is this Captain America the debut of XTREME CAP?

Chuck_Tatum, Tuesday, 16 October 2007 12:38 (eighteen years ago)

tomorrow, vacations and moving all done, I make my first trip to comic shop in 4 weeks! It will be expensive!

BRAVE AND THE BOLD #7 - challengers?
DEATH OF THE NEW GODS #1 (OF 8) - meh-be
SHOWCASE PRESENTS TP WORLDS FINEST VOL 01 - oh please, can I? though the memory of moving nearly 30 Showcase Prez still lingers...
SUPERMAN CONFIDENTIAL #7 - only because I haven't shown up since before the last one came out!
SUPERMAN THE BOTTLE CITY OF KANDOR TP - hmmmm
KILLING GIRL #3 (OF 5) (MR) - another reason to show up regularly at the comic shop
CAPTAIN AMERICA #31

Fables

Jordan, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 16:26 (eighteen years ago)

god bless my lcs. after taking 3 or 4 weeks to, y'know, do other shit, they welcomed me back with an EXTRA 10% discount! also, when I signed up a year ago, I put Daredevil on my list, and they forgot about, and then I forgot about it, but they just put the new trade in my file, so now I can get all caught up, cuz I wasn't even "reading" it!
And I totally bought Showcase Prez World's Finest, and now I have to hide it from my GF.

Dr. Superman, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

I opened Superman Confidential. Goddamn the art in that stinks.

Oilyrags, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 23:43 (eighteen years ago)

I've got TWO ISSUES of that waiting for me after work. I'm determined to find some redeeming quality to it.

Dr. Superman, Thursday, 18 October 2007 02:02 (eighteen years ago)

REDEEMING QUALITIES: features Lois Lane robot, jaw-droppingly awful art, and best of all, IT'S OVER

Dr. Superman, Thursday, 18 October 2007 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

SUPERMAN was kinda weak. Where did superman's foster son come from? Is this some countdown nonsense? Also, someone's math is wrong. I'm not sure if it's mine, the interstellar villain's, or the JLA's.. but someone's math is wrong.
