ILC e-mail list during outage?

You know, this board is small enough that if people are interested we could keep it over e-mail during the planned ILX outage. (Or not).

I'd keep up with it if we did. In my ideal world, I envision a comments-enabled group blog, but other than on Livejournal (where everyone would need an account), I have no idea how to do that. So probably not.

But yeah, it'd be nice to keep up with what people think of things as they come out, instead of waiting.

This could be a situation where gmail's message-boardishness is very nice (threaded conversations under a subject and all that).

I can do a group-enabled blog on my site, too - unfortunately, I can't access g-g-g-g-g-GMAIL @ work, but I have a Gmail account (obviously).

Planned outage = within 24 hours!

I have no gmail and am unsure if I can access it from work. Anybody that wants to give me one can invite me on this address, I guess, and if not then I'll be on this for the shutdown.

I have a work address as well for during the day UK time, but I'd rather not use it...
