My first instinct is to say BAtman Continues, but War Pigs looks pretty badass, too.

(seriously, wouldn't War Pigs be a great name for an Iron Man sequel?)

Oilyrags, Monday, 14 April 2008 19:40 (seventeen years ago)

iron mang

Trying to decide btwn Dark Knight and Hellboy 2: Hellboy Done Right

jessie monster, Monday, 14 April 2008 19:45 (seventeen years ago)

The fact that I am actually licking my chops for IRON MAN is a credit to both the great job folx did w/ the pre-release hype, and my unabiding love for most things Favreau (Dinner For Five RIP).

That said, McNulty as Jigsaw versus Titus Pullo is a close 1a.

David R., Monday, 14 April 2008 19:50 (seventeen years ago)

Batman OBVIOUSLY, but Iron Man looks to have everything I've ever wanted in a superflick.

Dr. Superman, Monday, 14 April 2008 20:14 (seventeen years ago)

1) drunk millionaire arms-producer
2) bald bearded Jeff Bridges
3) Black Sabbath

right?

4) Subtext!

Dr. Superman, Monday, 14 April 2008 20:37 (seventeen years ago)

Iron Man by a fur piece.

Rock Hardy, Monday, 14 April 2008 21:23 (seventeen years ago)

Iron Man, but someone forgot to put SPEED RACER on that list.

Matt M., Monday, 14 April 2008 22:28 (seventeen years ago)

I'm not upset about intentionally forgetting SPEED RACER :D

David R., Monday, 14 April 2008 23:14 (seventeen years ago)

Hellboy 2 most likely to be actually good, but as long as they can keep the blurry CGI to a minimum, Iron Man might be enjoyable.

energy flash gordon, Monday, 14 April 2008 23:59 (seventeen years ago)

EMBRACE THE TECHNO ACID LUV, DAVER.

Matt M., Tuesday, 15 April 2008 03:42 (seventeen years ago)

IF I GET FREE TICKETS I MIGHT

David R., Tuesday, 15 April 2008 04:21 (seventeen years ago)

plur. respec.

I'm not ashamed that I really want to see this. But then I watched SPEED RACER in Japanese when I was a little tyke. KIMBA, too.

Matt M., Tuesday, 15 April 2008 14:22 (seventeen years ago)

Iron Man does look surprisingly awesome, I'm glad they are letting Tony be a total dick!

One of my friends is going to make us see Speed Racer opening weekend, I just know it.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 14:25 (seventeen years ago)

i saw a commercial for speed racer last night and got pretty excited to be honest.
i voted IRON MANS.

ian, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 14:30 (seventeen years ago)

But then I watched SPEED RACER in Japanese when I was a little tyke. KIMBA, too.

So did I (channel 52 in Corona represent!), but the idea of the SR movie makes me a little queasy.

Rock Hardy, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 14:41 (seventeen years ago)

OK TBH the more I see of SPEED RACER, the more the initial consensus WTF anti-hype wears off. But, seriously, gratis tix, I am down for, studio execs. How many AICN turds need freebies, anyway?

David R., Tuesday, 15 April 2008 14:44 (seventeen years ago)

i was totally anti-speed racer but then i saw the trailer and was 'well...hmmm'.

balls, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 17:42 (seventeen years ago)

In order of excitement:

Dark Knight>>>Iron Man>>>>>Incredible Hulk

chap, Thursday, 24 April 2008 12:10 (seventeen years ago)

I really enjoyed the first Punisher film, nut I am worried about this one.

aldo, Thursday, 24 April 2008 12:29 (seventeen years ago)

The Hulk movie was being filmed in Toronto last year. The location managers made my girlfriend take a long detour around campus when they were shooting there.

Therefore dud.

Chuck_Tatum, Thursday, 24 April 2008 16:16 (seventeen years ago)

I really enjoyed the first Punisher film, nut I am worried about this one.

My favourite bit was when all the ninjas came down the sack-slide at Luna Park to attack Dolph Lundgren!

energy flash gordon, Friday, 25 April 2008 09:31 (seventeen years ago)

Duh, I forgot about that one. I meant the Thomas Janes/Travolta one.

aldo, Friday, 25 April 2008 12:27 (seventeen years ago)

I know. But I really do love that! First time I went I was too scared to go down that at first, so it really shows he's in trouble, if they're so badass they can come down it in formation!

(Also, it shows they are not six.)

energy flash gordon, Friday, 25 April 2008 16:35 (seventeen years ago)

Iron Man, only because I hear "things" about the Hulk

p.s. Batman looks more rubbery now than in the Joel Schumacher things

AJ Styles, Friday, 25 April 2008 19:33 (seventeen years ago)
