You are a Supervillain, Which Super-Team Will You Infiltrate and Destroy from the Inside Out?

Which of these teams (or write in yr own-though it won't count for SCIENTIFIC purposes) would be easiest to dupe? Please provide at least one reason. If you feel it to be necessary, tell us which iteration of yr chosen team would be most gullible. If you are ambitious, how would you infiltrate the group of your choice?

the Teen Titans have a pretty good track record of not seeing obvious betrayals coming

I don't think X-Force counts since it's a team of supervillains these days

Defenders - about 3/4 of them are reformed villains anyway. Mostly temporarily reformed.

LoSH has so many damn members, it'd be easy to sneak in and try (especially if you can distract Brainiac-5 with something shiny / infuriating). NO ONE EXPECTS MATTER-EATER LAD!

TS: Magneto as Xorn vs. Cassandra Nova as Professor X (ha ha vs. The Judas Contract)

'twas LoSH what inspired this, been reading Showcase LoSH #2, and every second story is BETRAYED BY DYNAMO BOY! or THE SUPER-TRAITOR OF THE SUPER-CLUB!
have also "discovered" the LoSH story I would write if anyone asked (no one will).

Is every Marvel team "reformed" villains these days?

Dr. Superman, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 20:13 (seventeen years ago)

YAY! I didn't know the second LoSH Showcase was out. Just ordered it from Amazon.

The Avengers have often seemed to have a revolving door membership policy and have let some right losers in, so much easier for supervillain to sneak himself/a henchman into the ranks than a closely knit bunch like the FF.

current Defenders are literally an assortment of random dudes, none of whom were villains

AJ Styles, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 22:10 (seventeen years ago)

The X-Men, c'mon. Even with all those telepaths, they never see it coming.

BATMAN AND HIS BANDE A PART - I'd like to know what it would feel like to be an "outsider" among The Outsiders. Plus, "AN OUTSIDER AMONG THE OUTSIDERS!!!" would make one kick-ass cover phrase.

Geo-Force is an outsider because he never gets invited to parties

AJ Styles, Wednesday, 7 May 2008 19:51 (seventeen years ago)

I'd also like to go the Niles Calder route and create my own groop who play chord x and then undermine them when they've served their purpose. And maybe also beat up the Beardhunter.

I think there's a weird subplot left over from Meltzer where Geo-Force is being blackmailed by Deathstroke the Terminator, and that's why McDuffie traded G/F to the Outsiders for, um, Kid Aquaman? Super Chief? The Ghost of Sue Dibny?

Obv'ly, the Fantastic Four would be the hardest group (listed) to infiltrate (unless you're a Skrull), since y'know, it's a family. But wouldn't that make it all the more rewarding? The best route (and I've only read two volumes of Fantastic Four--Essential Vol. 1 and, um, whatever issue had Allred and Pope back-ups--so excuse me if it's been done) would be for a female supervillain to cozy up to Johnny Storm and entrench herself in the family dynamic. Then she should try to seduce Reed Richards, which, even if it's unsuccessful, would create a rift between everyone but Ben Grimm. Johnny would be heartbroken and despondent, Sue would be furious at both Johnny and Reed, and Reed would be befuddled (he may not have even noticed the attempted bedding).
Then I (if I was the lady supervillain) would drop an H-Bomb on the Baxter Building.
