Sort've torn on this one. It's really hard to find much goodwill for another indie comic with an undercurrent of dark, despairing lonelyness and a fetish for 19th century american chapdom, but I guess he's kind of interesting anyway, has a macabre side to him that usually doesn't play into these things. I think I like the crudest stuff best - "Always In Love" is a treat, and "Barry Pago, Crime Scene Photographer" actually made me choke up a bit. His schtick could get old fast, I'm aware, but I do think this book is worthy of discussion.
