Has anyone ever read this? I've only ever read its more highbrow companion, RAW. I found a website once that had all of the covers scanned in, it looked great. More info please...

Yeah I read a few issues. It was good! Has the Complete Crumb Comics reprinted his Weirdo stuff yet? Cos that kind of misanthropic/fetishist era is what I think of when I think 'classic Crumb'.

I used to like reading the stories of how all the old underground comics fans got really pissed off when Crumb handed over the editorial reins first to his wife then to Peter Bagge. GOOD FOR HIM I thought in my punky way.

two weeks pass...

the Crumb photo stories are really really bad in a pathetically funny way. think his most obsessive "i like big asses & horselike legs" comics reduced to amateur b&w sequential photos with speech bubbles and benny hill like oompah!
