Marvel Super Heroes' Guide to New York City (Travel Channel, 7pm and 10pm) is a look at New York City landmarks and how they inspired or played a part in Marvel Comics (especially storylines involving Spider-Man, Captain America, and The Fantastic Four). Includes interviews with Stan Lee and other people who've worked in comics or on movies based on comic books

Times EST (for tonight), I think, but whether or not that varies depends on cable carrier etc. I'm sure it'll be rerun. It sounds fun.

I missed it! How was it? Anyone?

I only caught part of it -- what I caught was pretty cool, bearing in mind that the only time I've been to New York City, it was for a couple hours in the middle of the night en route to Philly, and only because my father promised we could drive past the Marvel offices.

I never realized, for instance, that the bridge Gwen Stacy died on/near is called one thing and drawn as another (George Washington and Brooklyn, but I don't remember which it's called and which it's drawn as). And I don't think I knew that Nick Fury grew up in Hell's Kitchen.
