Other than Brit comics, has he ever done the insides of anything beyond Camelot 3000 and Killing Joke?

All of Brian's recent artwork is created 100% digitally -- without the use of paper, pencil, ink or paint. Using Photoshop Brian draws the images directly to his Macintosh using a device called a WACOM tablet.
I heard something about BB suffering from nerve damage or failing eyesight or some sort of impediment that would prompt this switch from pencil to digital & perhaps see a semi-perceptible decline in the quality of his work.

I thought his covers for THE INVISIBLES were great. At least the good ones were...

A sweet man, but utterly lacking in normal human tact. His first trip to the DC offices threw up two beautiful examples. He was waiting in their reception area, and chatting to this old guy sitting there. Brian pointed to a couple of covers on the walls, and said that he drew them. The other guy did the same, and Brian gasped and said "Y-you're Steve Ditko! I never thought you'd look like this - I always imagined you were a midget!" Then later he was introduced to Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez. Now he was Argentinian, and this was in the '80s. As Brian offered his hand to shake, his first words were "We should be at war, really."

back in the day I liked Bolland more than McMahon because he drew more attractive women. I accept now that this should not be a sole criterion for judging artists. -- DV, September 9th, 2004. (later)
Why does this make me think of Adam Hughes and Greg Horn?

But, BB himself, Classic. I'm a sucker for clean lines.

absolute classic.he moved into the little town where i live recently.due to an insane story of circumstance, we met, chatted, connected, and now hang out.no-one else in my little town would have any idea who he is other than me.as someone who bought early era 2000ad/dredd, killing joke etc, it's insane.

Lol at Steve Ditko story upthread.
Can you ask BB why he thought that?
― Kim Kimberly, Sunday, 29 December 2024 22:18 (four months ago)

I went to a couple of his signings when I was 11 or 12 in the early 90s and remember he seemed lovely, the only one that wasn’t shy or weird about having kids approach him (Dave Gibbons too)

brian has joined bluesky : brianbolland.bsky.sociali also now have a print of an unreleased Tank Girl cover by brian that was never used.note : it's not that rare/special, as he sells them at conventions.but until a couple of weeks ago, i had no idea there even was such a thing.i have the tank girl comics that have his coverart on them (more by luck than judgement) .. so to find out that there was a rejected cover was a massive WTF moment for me.
― mark e, Sunday, 2 March 2025 20:01 (two months ago)
His Tank Girl covers were for DC comics to tie in to the movie, not for Deadline. Multiple editorial regimes had scrapped entire comics in the previous two decades, let alone covers — I’m pretty sure Bolland had had covers for both Animal Man and Wonder Woman by that time.
