Yesterday was my birthday and I now have a gift card to a chain bookstore. So, this is like "free money" and can basically spend it on anything without fearing that I'm wasting my money. What should I get? I'm thinking Adventures of Barry Ween because it was just mentioned on another thread and it wouldn't be the first thing I'd run into a bookstore for.

Right now, what title(s) would you get as a risk, just to check out and see what it's all about?
