What's the deal with DC Focus? I've never heard of it but my comic seller talked me into getting the Hard Time trade. I flipped through it and said, "Jesus! What is this kid, like eight-years-old? And he's in hard-core, I'm-gonna-make-you-my-bitch prison?" I've only read the first couple of issues in it (but I can't really tell where one issue ends another another begins, they all go straight into the next one) and it seems all right. He's got a super power that makes me go, "Yeah, see, I think the X-Men got a guy like this already." But it's okay. I think I should go out and rent Oz while reading this...

I've sort of fallen behind on it, but it's actually really good. I think it's the only one of those Focus books that didn't get cancelled after a couple issues, and rightfully so.

I finished the trade. It was pretty good; Ethan seems pretty cool. The only think that bothered me was [spoiler] when Ethan's flamey-looking projection goes walking around, everything's all red. But, no one seeing anything out of the ordinary. It kind of confused me. But I like all the characters.
