the original smithsonian collection of comic-book comics is an incredible book - very highly recommended, tho i wish they'd stuck some early marvel in there.

The way that the old comics were reprinted in that original collection is much preferable to the crap recolorings presented in the DC and Marvel archives, too.

Why is "A Midsummer Night's Dream" always picked as the best Sandman story? It's alright, but there are far better... "Ramadan" or that Julius Ceasar one, for example.
