"The War That Time Forgot" - classic or dud

I have never seen a single image from this comic, but from what I have read about it I can piece together its basic premise. Basically, in some theatre of the second world war, the axis and allied forces find themselves slugging it out in a lost valley of the dinosaurs. So as well as having to watch out for German panzers you never know when you could find yourself being eaten by a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Surely this is the most classic comic of all time, yet any comment I have ever read on it has been solidly negative. Has anyone ever seen this book?

two months pass...
The War That Time Forgot had dinosaurs in it so, by definition, is a classic; at least, for eight year olds who were reading DC war comics back in 1960 (or thereabouts. Not something that I've ever read, but I get the impression that it was pretty dull. Apart from the dinosaurs, that is.

By coincidence, The War That Time Forgot reappeared recently in the first issue of DC: The New Frontier which is, like, the best thing I've read this year.
