It could rightly be said that I'm not 100% in sympathy with what the average comics fan might respond to. So I'm interested in some feedback. I'm working on a comics-related Web site at the moment--I can't name it, as it's not 100% definite, though let's say 90%. Broadly speaking, I'm very happy with the design and contents ideas, but let's be speculative.
What kind of things would you like to see on a comics-type Web site? Let's say it was the Web site for a comics magazine, but we should think in terms of dynamic content that won't be seen in print. What would make you come back regularly? What would you find useful or entertaining... or even compelling?
As present the layout, roughly, is: current issue contents, Web preview section, subs info, editorial, reviews, questions & letters, news blog, mailing list, links section, etc. The news blog is my idea; small snippets from several writers posted regularly that won't go into print. There is also some thought of a Web comics section, though not definite.
So let me check your pulse. Tell me what would work for you. I can't promise to use anything--all content would obviously be subject to employer approval in any case--but nothing's ruled out at this point. Thanks in advance!
(Private e-mail replies okay too, BTW.)

And me (or any other, more worthy ILC denizens) getting paid to write such monstrosities.

There is an archive of older material I've been slogging through (no database access = cut & paste! = loadsa fun). No articles, really, but perhaps we can draw some Web-exclusive items from people involved.
Oh, and I guess we squeeze ILC into the links section somewhere. :-)

I only mention this because I recently read Jack Lawrence's Darkham Vale and, through visiting his website, found out that he's doing the artwork for a 4-part series starting this month from Image called Lions, Tigers & Bears. So... having ONE place to go to, to read about upcoming stuff (instead of going to a million different websites) would be really handy.
