No, there're enough alt/ug/art comics threads being posted here to justify it. But a new "Underground comix" category would be a good compromise. Or maybe call it "Alternative/Underground/Literary/Fine Art comics" as a good umbrella term (defining these different types of comics is a whole can of worms, so an umbrella term would work best hopefully)?

And when I said that it'd be pointless to have a separate board for ug, it wasn't a comment on the number of threads, but that such specific specialization was unnecessary (comics is the medium, ug is a genre -- should one or more genres warrant their own board?), which Jordan articulates better than I have.
