I have pages by Ian Gibson from "The Ballad of Halo Jones", a page by Kyle Baker from "Why I hate Saturn", a page from "The Adventures of Luther Arkwright" by Brain Tablet and er something else, I forget what exactly. If the artist is still alive, and reachable, it's good to buy from them (everything except the Kyle B I bought from the artists, who I met at signings, conventions etc) You pay less and they get more. They're nice to have but not really essential. I can't see myself selling the Halo Jones pages b/c it's my favourite comic, but I should really think abt clearing out the other stuff. Owning it is kind of a responsibility in a way.

With great original art comes great responsibility.

I've got several pieces. About 4 Chris Weston pages (1 each from Ministry Of Space, The Filth, The Invisibles and War Story), plus a couple of other things by him including a drawing of Nomad, The Red Prince from Don Lawrence's Storm. A Kyle Baker page from The Shadow. A page from Powers. Several pieces from Cerebus 300.

If you're selling the Kyle Baker piece, Pashmina, I might be interested.

I bought a Carla Speed McNeil page and a Roger Langridge page about a year ago. Also bought several Chuck Austen pages from Zot! and gave them to a friend of mine.

I almost bought a Cerebus double-page spread from Sim at an Atlanta signing, but there was a glued-on correction that was coming loose and torn, so I passed. It was $150 -- probably a mistake to have passed on it, but oh well.

I have an Adrian Tomine Optic Nerve page, a Ted Stearn Fuzz and Pluck page and a Jason Lutes Jar of Fools page. Also: a page of rats from Brian Ralph's Cave In and sketch art for a James Sturm lithograph. All big fun. Comic Art Collective is a nice place to buy this stuff, because you're buying it directly from the artists! The website for The Beguiling has some amazing stuff for sale, too. Biggest missed opportunity: Doom Patrol pages from Richard Case, $10/ea. I was soooo broke at the time.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. (That's me being jealous, BTW.)

I've got a Kirby New Gods drawing from the '80s (also inked by JK), which still needs a frame. Doh.

Was just watching a Ditko page on ebay but it went over my minuscule budget.

If anyone has some '80s Mike McMahon going cheap, drop me a line. Can't find that stuff anywhere.
