I thought it would be nice for Vimanarama to have a thread of its own instead of spreading it out over the shipping threads.

Issue #2 is really good! Possibly the most whimsical out of the recent three-issue minis. Whoever drew the parallel to Seaguy as far as a completely light-hearted first issue turning bleak in the second is OTM, but the bleakness here seems less severe than in We3 and Seaguy (despite the decapitations).

Also, I'm a sucker for Philip Bond.

I've always liked Grant, but he really seems on the top of his game at the moment... it's almost enough to make me want to try The Invisibles again. (Should I?) Perhaps he got all the abstruse self-parody out of his system after The Filth. (Which I enjoyed, nontheless.)

He also seems to doing some amazing stuff with panel layout lately -- check out JLC #1 in particular. I mean, it seems fairly obvious that writers should dick around with panel presentation, but for some reason no one else seems to be doing it (at least at Marvel and DC.)

It's alright, but it's no "Seaguy".

Aces! Do you need questions to hurl at him?

Fer sher! I'll set up a thread when (if) it's confirmed.

Chuck OTM about the game and Morrison's being on top of it -- this, Seaguy, and We3 especially are definitely among my favorite Morrison stories. (The Seven Soldiers one-shot was a disappointment in comparison, but it's one piece in a much larger thing, after all.)
