For me:
FACES OF EVIL: GRUNDY--I like the Johns/Kolins team, and I hope they actually read SEVEN SOLDIERS closely enough to realize what happened to Grundy in itINVINCIBLE IRON MAN #9--really enjoyed the last issue, Fraction's on a roll
Aaaaand I think that might be it. Next few weeks look pretty heavy, though.

Just Buffy and Iron Man for me this week. Pretty sure Buffy is written by Jane Espenson this month, which is pretty awesome. (If you don't know, Jane Espenson is one of the most beloved Buffy staff writers, she wrote several classic episodes from season three on til the end.)

Hellboy, American Splendor, 'Tec, Sandman Dream Hunters
And what's with RASL having a tpb already? Wasn't 3 the most recent issue?

No, it's Dini after all.

Yes, the RASL trade is just the first three issues, but printed BIG. Not as big as that first preview issue, though.

I need to WOW at this week's Punisher War Journal. Fraction finally gets one right and it's his last issue on the run :(

RE: PUNISHER #1
BEING LARGELY UNFAMILIAR WITH HIS PREVIOUS WORK, BARRING PWJ (NATCH), I HAVE TO ASK:
Is Remender "action guy"? It's rare to encounter mainstream action scenes that don't dissolve into an incoherent muddle (or maybe the recently read MESSIAH COMPLEX is simply coloring my thoughts), but both this issue and his PWJ work with Fraction manage to elicit genuine adrenalin on the part of the reader (for one of the best action sequences of last year, see that chase scene in the PWJ "Jigsaw" arc).
