The May issue of Comics Buyer's Guide features the annual CBG Fan Awards, with DC Comics being named "Favorite Publisher" for the eighth consecutive year.
Many other DC talents and projects were honored as well, with DC winning in nearly every category.

I get the idea that the fan establishment (if such a thing exists, and if my experience of it (rec.arts.comics, reading CBG occasionally) is typical) is generally pro-DC, and JSA has always been a treat for people who know their history. So, not that surprising.
