For me:

BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #1--bet my kid will like this one
FINAL CRISIS #7--yeaaaaaahhhhh!!!
FINAL CRISIS: REVELATIONS #5--yeah?
INCREDIBLE HERCULES #125--I find myself still strangely invested in this series
GLAMOURPUSS #5--I really, really wonder where this is going (as opposed to not caring where it's going)
JOURNEY TP VOL. 2--this stuff made me really happy 20 years ago, hope the repro on this volume's better

Final Final Crisis and Glamourpuss.

FC, FCR, Batman I guess, Unknown Soldier, Captain America, Daredevil, and if I was richer or an even bigger Peanuts stan or both, Charlie Brown's striped yellow tshirt.

Dear Tacos, how are you? I am fine. The weather is nice. I miss yo (Oilyrags), Tuesday, 27 January 2009 00:04 (fifteen years ago) link

BATMAN #685 -- I guess this is the Catwoman/Hush story follow up by Paul Dini. It could be a good read.
FINAL CRISIS #7 -- FC #6 seemed a bit disjointed. After reading Superman Beyond #2, I kind of wish I could of read it before #6. I think DC is kind of flubbing it not reprinting some of the extra stuff with Final Crisis, but what do I know, I bought it issue to issue. Even if they compile the issues in a second trade, it won't be in a good reading order.
FINAL CRISIS REVELATIONS #5 -- I still don't see quite how this fits in to the overall storyline.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #583 OBAMA 3RD PTG VAR -- I've tried with no luck to get this one the last couple of weeks. Marvel has a pretty good deal going on subscribing to ASM, so I might give it a shot as it seems though people hated how they got Spidey single, the actual follow up has been better than expected.

TRANSHUMAN TP VOL 01 -- I wanted to read this one but I could never find the first couple of issues. I'm curious about it and maybe eventually will check it out.
JOURNEY TP VOL 02 -- IDG is cool for reprinting this series, but it would really make my day if they were able to get Journey Wardrums finished and compiled. I think that mini-series died on the vine with at least two issues to go.

FINAL CRISIS!!!!!!!!

Also: JSA, Superman, Captain America, Daredevil, and Fantastic Four.

Mr. Perpetua, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 02:21 (fifteen years ago) link

I kinda had to stop with Glamourpuss, if just cos I had to cut things and it has no real storyline and it's just basically a blog on paper.

Mr. Perpetua, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 02:23 (fifteen years ago) link

Which is, of course, the entire charm. But I just had to cut some stuff.

Oh and Final Crisis Revelations.

Wally West, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 12:02 (fifteen years ago) link

After reading Superman Beyond #2, I kind of wish I could of read it before #6.

??? They're completely separate stories! Legion of 3 Worlds or whatever seems to have more in common with FC6 (I assume, I haven't read it).

Andrew Farrell, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 12:30 (fifteen years ago) link

Just Finals Crisises for me.

Chuck_Tatum, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 15:48 (fifteen years ago) link

BATMAN #685
FINAL CRISIS #7
JACK OF FABLES #30
GLAMOURPUSS #5 (I'm going to keep getting this until it starts making sense)

I'll also probably be picking up the "Five Crazy Women" volume of Finder.

Just the pair of Final Crisises (or is it Crises?) for me this week.

Stone Monkey, Tuesday, 27 January 2009 21:26 (fifteen years ago) link

Finally managed to synch up my baby's crying/feeding/sleep schedule with the Cdn airtime for the new Batman: B&B cartoon. MEGAFUN. Team-up with Mermaid-Man, er, Aquaman.

Also, Snugli'd her into the comicshop on Sunday, and caught up with SUPERMAN BEYOND 3D! and the waste of Dustin Nguye in D-tective, and the pretty decent/sorta Beetlejuice-ish Mysterius the Unfathomable.

this week:
Final Crisis stuff
Batman
Captain America

Oh Why, Sports Coat? (Dr. Superman), Tuesday, 27 January 2009 21:46 (fifteen years ago) link

??? They're completely separate stories!

One is plainly set before the other, though – remember he left from Final Crisis for Beyond, and reappeared in FC without having had Beyond resolved.
