I'm vaguely interested in the two Hickman Marvel projects, but probably not this week.

Nothing. Not even the Hickman stuff. It's sad. It feels like I've given up buying comics. But anyway, how on earth did Rage of the Red Lanterns get to a 3rd printing? And who the hell is buying it?

All the people who thought the Sinestro Corps War was the best thing ever oh my god!

As in, comic geeks who hope the Green Lanterns are real and that they will one day be judged worthy.

SECRET SIX #7- This is the end of the first storyline. This comic is a pretty good read.
SOLOMON GRUNDY #1 (OF 7)- I'm kind of curious on this one.

I HOPE THE GREEN LANTERN IS REAL AND THAT I WILL ONE DAY BE JUDGED WORTHY.

Also, on a related note, I'm going as Green Lantern and Char is going as Violet Lantern for Purim. Woo nerds!

I do recommend that "Little Nothings" paperback by Trondheim. But yeah, this is the second nothin'-much week in a row, and that concerns me. Not like I don't have a lot of old stuff I picked up at WonderCon this weekend to read, though. (Including the first six months or so of "Brand New Day" at 50 cents an issue.)

On the other hand, I am currently wearing a Violet Lantern T-shirt.

Speaking of Green Lantern/Geoff Johns, is it just me or have the last, I dunno, five storylines taken place in random outer space? Except the Secret Origins, of course. But it just seems like, um, things are happening in space so that the artists don't have to draw backgrounds.

I love Green Lantern but dislike Johns take on it immensely. The Rainbow Warriors can all suck it.

Johns did all nerds with female significant others who like to cosplay a big service by creating the Violet Lantern Corps.

Nothing for me. If I see Little Nothings 2 remaindered in three years I’ll snap it up cos the content’s great, but NBM’s design aesthetic shits me too much to spunk over $30 on an A5 paperback

As opposed to the 1970s and 1980s, when DC artists didn't draw backgrounds regardless of where the story was set.

I was duped into thinking the wolvy/hulk ultimate thing was going to go somewhere interested. Thanks, tv dude.

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I'm getting sucked into the Superman serial. I'm glad that Robinson and Rucka took over the World of New Krypton stuff from that other dude who'd never written anything ever (Kriesberg?). This first issue was intriguing, and was in keeping with the work that Johns and Robinson have been putting into the Superman titles over the past few months.

May I just say: I've gone, in a rather short expanse of time, from being a Johns hater to feeling like he has pretty much the best grasp on how to make the DC Universe viable and worth reading about? Well done, sir.
