Herbie Archives aside, this is another dismal week. Incognito and... I'm curious to look at "The Stuff of Life" (Mark Schultz & Zander Cannon!), but yeah, not much for me.

Alex Toth softcover. Maybe catch up on MYSTERIUS. Otherwise, it looks like I've got extra spending money for Stumptown Comics Fest.

Matt M., Wednesday, 15 April 2009 01:12 (fifteen years ago) link

sadly, the Toth collection is almost certainly going to be more 1950s public domain material that has been badly scanned and 'restored' by Pure Imagination

that dark horse DYLAN DOG collection looks very tempting, love this kind of euro strip that sits between horror, sf and superhero stuff - the movie is great too

essential dazzler VOLUME TWO???

Ward Fowler, Wednesday, 15 April 2009 08:04 (fifteen years ago) link

the Dylan Dog still has Dark Horse's 90s vandalism retained, I believe

oh, what did they do?

Ward Fowler, Wednesday, 15 April 2009 12:36 (fifteen years ago) link

whited out/redrew the character Groucho's mustache/face and renamed him Felix

maybe toned down sex refs in dialogue too

RE: Toth. I'll take what I can get.

I think I have the contents of ESSENTIAL DAZZLER v.2 in comic book form. I know that I have v.1.

You may mock me now.

100 Bullets final issue!
Walking Dead
Incognito

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #591 - I'm caught up on this title and am getting it via a mail sub. I think this is a pretty fun book.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #49 - I get this one via mail subscription. Namor was pretty kick ass in the last couple of issues. I've got to think that bringing back Steve Rogers is kind of a ruse at this point.
INCOGNITO #3 - I'll sit down and read all three in one sitting.
GODLAND #27 - I'll eventually get this one, I'm read up to like #22.
