Manpain

I can get behind making fun of this in theory; however, half of the examples cited on this webpage seem to be less about "manpain" and more about "basic storytelling", which is sort of problematic; if you're not allowed to tell the story through a character's point of view, how exactly are you supposed to tell it?

Not going to get into the whole "women in refrigerators" thing because it's self-evident (to me anyway) what the problems with relying on that as a plot device are, even though an author can do that well.
