Help with suggestions for books on pulp sci-fi magazines cover art.

I'm trying to locate a book that I used to have as a youngster which was a large-ish softback book with beautiful colour reproductions of pulp sci-fi
cover art like Amazing Stories/Worlds Of Tomorrow type stuff. I have Forrest Ackerman's 2004 book 'Worlds Of Tomorrow' but would love to track this
other book down again. I'm imagining it came out around the very early 80's sometime, possibly even late 70's. Any clues/leads much appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time to make those suggestions WmC, I'm especially tempted by that DVD.

No prob...I was interested in pulps myself back in the 70s/80s, and that DVD does look pretty cool. Still trying to think what that book might have been.

Heh, sorry for the delay James, having one of those weeks. I *think* it might be, but with a different cover. I've just tracked one down and bought it from EBay, so I will be sure to let you know! And thanks!

Okay, so I got the Aldiss book through from EBay and I'm not sorry to say it isn't the correct one, becuase it's really great. Between the Ackermann book and this I may have subsumed my nostalgia jones. A lot less bugged that I might never find that orignal book now. Thanks to the ILC hivemind.
