I don't think it's been said enough, but brunette Charlize Theron = HAWTTTTT.

Wow, I haven't seen Aeon Flux for years. I assume it's on dvd now.
Was the animated series the original incarnation or was it ever a comic?

And how will they give her a 1 1/2 inch waist?

Jordan (Jordan), Thursday, 14 July 2005 19:43 (twenty years ago)

Closer to fruition are "The History of Violence" and "Aeon Flux," both out later this year.

Charlize Theron stars in "Aeon Flux," due this fall.

"Violence" stars Viggo Mortensen, is directed by David Cronenberg and comes from the same publishers of "Road to Perdition."

That CNN article was just an excuse to use the Bat Nips shot again.

It will get a sneak peak at Comic-Con Saturday.

God, everything worth seeing is on Saturday!

An Aeon Flux primer: started as animated shorts on MTV before becoming full-length (i.e. ~20 minutes). One collection, to my knowledge, in on DVD -- the two other volumes are VHS only.

And from today's mucking about the Dark Horse booth: the movie is supposed to set up the comic, which of course means we'll get brunette Charlize (and I'll respectfully disagree w/ Dan -- she looks no great shakes there) before we get 4-color Aeon.

Don't forget there's an Aeon Flux board on ILX.

The only time she has looked HAWTTER was in "The Devil's Advocate".

"Daredevil," with Ben Affleck as the hero and Jennifer Garner as Elektra, earned critical catcalls.

It really did, it really really did.

Blade Trilogy in whitewashed from super hero movies article-shocker.

BARMS, Friday, 15 July 2005 07:54 (twenty years ago)

If it was mentioned it would only have been as a replacement for 'Catwoman'. I think people ironically consider them to be Matrix ripoffs.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Friday, 15 July 2005 09:05 (twenty years ago)

Also most people forget that they're comic book films, efforts in the second one aside.

Also Blade is hardly the Hulk/Catwoman.

More annoying is that they don't mention the Luke Cage film directed by John Singleton that's in the works (Though it's possible that the conjunction of the two names is all that exists of the film).

Stupid preview, though. WTF? Why do little balls of mercury come calling at her wistle?

It's supposed to be mainstream surrealism? I thought it was imaginative.
